Naturactor (REVIEW)

Hello again, people. I know it's been a while since the last time i wrote that i will be reviewing some naturactors that i have purchased.

I am so sorry for the time delayed for posting. But, here they are!

. .Naturactor Foundation & Camouflage Corrector. .

For a long wear foundation & corrector, all I can say is that Naturactor is the best i have tried so far and i am currently in love with it. It is a cream foundation and very light weighted, so i feel as if i have no foundation on my face. I have been wearing it for 2 weeks and I find that this product doesn't cause any problem for my skin. Not to mention that i have a highly unique skin type, yet my mom is also using this product and she feel great about it.

. .Naturactor Loose Powder. .

As you guys read above of how light-weighted the cream foundation is, you can tell how the loose powder will feel like as you pad it to your face. For this loose powder, i can tell that it is containing mica as it gives a very smooth finish look for the face and you can feel how soft and radiant your face is after applying the loose powder.

Soo, That's it guys for today's review. I will 

catch up for you about the other things that i bought later, cause as i can see here in makeup station, i still have so much used product that i haven't finish yet. So i decided to finish all of it then open the new ones.

IBB Make Up Challenge October 2014

This is the first time for me to join a makeup challenge.

So this challenge was made by IBB featuring SARANGE.

The look that i choose is "playful" and here it is

 

For this look, I was inspired by Lee Hyori 5th makeup look on the cover album. But i did experiment with use of the eyeshadow. Ask me why? because her look is more like a sexy look.

So instead of using dark brown or black for the crease, i used shimmery light beige and pink as my crease's color

and i use pink-reddish lipstick instead of nude color lipstick.

So, that's it for my first time challenge posting.

Hello, fellow makeup lovers!

And now, let me tel a little bit about myself.

I am a Indonesian young lady, born in Jakarta on 1992. I was doing my studies fine, and my parents sent me to Singapore for my University. Now i am holding a Bachelor degree of Accounting and Finance. Well, you might be a little surprise, because i am holding a double major degree. Yet you never want to know how did it feel when it comes to examination.

Unfortunately, that degree that i am holding never work on my life.

Maybe some of you wonder why does it never work, or why don't i use it for earning my own money?

What can i say? Parents.. Well, i was forced to take business. I never blame them though, cause parents will always give the best for their child, dont they?

So after i graduate from University, i told my parents that i wanted to take a makeup course. They ask me why, but i just told them that i like makeup so much, but that was just a reason for me, because i just don't feel like working right away after my university life.

Thank God! During the makeup course, i learn alot. I saw how amazing it would be to make someone look different. And i realize that some people feel uncomfortable and uncofident with how they look. From that day on i can never get enough of beauty products and now i am working by myself as a makeup artist.

That's a little about me, and here is the product that i choosed at elevenia.

Why did i choose this Mac Studio Fix Fluid SPF15?

Though the color NW45 is not my skin color, i still wanted to write about this.

Because like i said, it was an amazing feeling to make someone look different. And for me, makeup will look best in a flawless skin. And this product always gives a great coverage for the skin.

Get to know COSMOS, NATURACTOR and HEAVY ROTATION

Greetings to all you guys!

I can barely remeber the last time I post something on the blog..

And tonight, i am so excited to share with you guys some products that i have been purchasing last week.

Maybe you some of you guys never heard about these brands, as for me, the first time I heard about the brands i was not interested at all because i just came back from Singapore to restocked my makeup. Yet due to respect my friend, i did came to meet him to see the product.

Unfortunately, I was falling for them the first time I tried them on. I havent got the chance to open everything, but i am absolutely going to do a review for this..

How to Contour

So this is my first video ever that i post in the internet.

It is basically on how do i contour my face for my everyday makeup look . This video will be in Bahasa Indonesia . Hope you guys enjoy the video..

So i mentioned earlier in the video that you guys should damp the sponge before using it for blending the contouring cream, do you know why?

Because a damp sponge will help you to blend out without taking so much of the creamy products that you put on your face..

Why use circular motion for the contouring powder?

Because i find that circular motion is the easiest way to put on and blend out powdery products . As i see that if i used the swiping motion, the product will only stay on the spot where i put my brush on in the beginning of the product application..

Golden Black

"It is okay not to be okay" - Jessie J. What a gloomy night, the rain is falling, the wind blows so hard and it is better to stay here at home rather than goin out there where you might be facing flood.

So, what can be fun thing to do inside the room in a rainy midnight?

Here is one most fun thing i like to do, put on some makeup and play with some color for the eyes.

I was using a wash of gold eyeshadow on my entire lid and give a touch of black shadow at the outer corner of the eye, bring it up a bit to my crease for enhancing my eyes.

For the eye liner, i draw a winged cat eye. You might notice how i draw the line that make such a big eye effect.

So, here i want to share with you my short heart to heart. By doing a new make up look might be the thing i can cherished the most in my spare and lonely time. And as time goes by, i learn a lot of how i should not be thinking about all those things that could bring me down but just enjoy life. Cherish every moment, enjoy and be thankful for everything that i have. So go find what the most positive thing you like to do. If you find it, your life would be happier.

So tell me what you think about this look, i look forward for some feedback to improve this blog.

Soap&Glory HAUL

Skin is just another crucial part for women. Well all women are always wanting a good healthy skin. So i bought this gorgeous smell skin care by Soap&Glory.

First is 'The Scrub of Your Life'. As it mention in the name, it is a scrub . It has a very nice smell, a great scrub texture that i wish i can have more time in the bath. It can instantly smoothen the skin, the result can be seen in only one time uses. This is just the best scrub i have ever tried so far! 

Second is the 'Hand Food'. I have used this hand cream for about a week. Even i don't like the smell of it, but i can notice the different of how my dry skin on my palm has gradually improved. 

Third is the 'Mist You Madly'. It is a floral-powdery fragrant body spray. For those of you who like the fresh-after-bath smell, this one is recommended.

So the last but not least, is the 'Glow Lotion. Nice smell, nice glow. Period.

Pink blackerina

Today i was doing a make up look for my friend's wedding. It was quite depressing for me, as i only got 4 hours to do make up and hair do for 8 people.

I didn't got the chance to take each of every look, but i did got the chance to take pictures of my 13 years old client, who will be perfoming at the wedding reception at the Redtop Hotel, Pecenongan - Jakarta.

So here is the photo i could possibly take in the 4 rushing hours.

I felt blessed for today because you know what? I did it! I make them all in time.

So i wanted to share here with you guys tips to do a perfect makeup in rushing hours.

1. Be on time! Make every second count..

2. Try not to over do the make up, just keep it simple and stylish..

3. Use Liquid foundation.. Beacuse liquid foundation is easier to be blended out..

4. Use transculent powder.. It will help saves the time as we won't need to find the perfect powder shades for different skin color.. Every second count! :)

5. Use brush for any application.

6. Don't bring along too much eyeshadow color.. Many choices may cause dilema in choosing the right one..

From Singapore, with Love

My sister is coming back from Singapore to celebrate the chinese new year 2014.

The best thing about her is that she likes to give surprises. And on this new year of wooden horse, she suprised me with this Boscia "Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel"

I've tried this product before, i was, i am now in love with it and i decide to write a review about it.

As state on the packaging above, it is a cooling moisturizing gel for all skin types, well ya it is. The instant cooling sensation sure gives a relaxation to the skin.

Furthermore in the morning after i rinse my face, the skin look so fresh. Make up application is also easier as i can see improvement of my skin each and every day, likewise the skin gets better my skin also can stand longer as a non oily skin under makeup coverage.

Year of Wooden Horse!

Happy chinese new year 2014!

It's been a while since i posted my last blog.

Well i won't be writting so much today, just a little review on what i wear for my look.

so i choose a classic vintage look, because i'll be using a red pleated midi skirt and white top. So a classic vintage look with red lips will suit the best. 

So i am using :

Saturday out? Or should i say Sisterday out?

This noon i received a line message from my older sister saying that she wanted to do waxing at Central Park. So again, who else to call when u gt to go alone to Central Park?

So without overdoing my look, i did a natural makeup look..

In my opinion, this look is one of the best everyday natural look. We don't have to try real hard to pop our eyes with colors, but brown work really well to make it look innocent and pop them out.

I was first using this amazing crayon shadows by Make Up Forever, they are in shade 32E (for the inner corner of the eye) and 22E (for the entire eyelid)

Right after those crayons i layer my eyes with eyeshadows from the NUDE'tude palette by the Balm. The colors i choosed were :

I firstly layered my lid with 'sultry', then layering this awesome shimmering pink 'stand-offshir' on the center part of my lid and lastly i used 'snobby' on my inner corner of the eye.

For the final step :

Eyeliner from Make Up forever, mascara from Kyrolan, lipstick and gloss from NYX and my adorable blush from Chanel.

Scents HAUL

I have been purchasing some perfumes this recent months. Not sure why i purchased them, but ya, i think i am starting to fall in love with all those nice perfumes. And no doubt, i love those guys with a good smell too.

My favorite scents would be those fresh, sweet and powdery.

My current favorite powdery perfume would be this Josephine by Rance. I bought this one at DFS Changi Airport Singapore for 145S$ (50ml) and 190S$ (100ml). This soft-smell perfume last long enough for my day to night activities. And it suits well for an everyday use.

My next favorite with fresh floral smell would be this Miss Dior in Blooming Bouquet. I got this one months ago at sephora ION. Well, i can't remember the exact price for this one, but i bet it was more than 100S$. For this one, the smell very fresh and could hold up for more than a day on my clothes.

My second last for sweet smell perfume would be this Maison Francìs Kurkdjian Paris in Amyris femme. No words can describe this fantastic last long smell. This perfume could stay for days on my clothes, it's a total sweet! I bought this one at escential in Paragon Mall, singapore. It cost me 250S$ for a 70ml. 

My last favorite one will be this Coco Mademmoiselle by Chanel. The smell is more elegant, it suits best for a special or formal occasions. Does it long last? Absolutely! Just like those three perfumes i mention earlier, this one also a long lasting perfume. I bought this one at Chanel beauty outlets at ION Singapore and cost me for more than 200S$ for 100ml.

Throw Back Time

People have their own experiences and memories in life. For me, i take all the experiences as lessons, keep in mind all those happy memorable moments and ignore the other bad memorable moments. And here it is, one of my happy memorable moment in 2 years past.

Week ago my boyfriend and i went for a short marathon gateaway jakarta - Singapore - Bali - Jakarta. We were departing from Jakarta (CGK) to Singapore (SIN) and staying for 5 days 4 nights at Elizabeth Hotel.

Elizabeth Hotel is one of the nice affordable hotel in Singapore. It is located near Orchard road so we had an easy access for day and night out. They also provide smoking hotel rooms for those smokers out there. We choosed this nice comfy hotel because we had so much things to do in SG that's why we knew that we won't stay much at the hotel.

I will be posting for the things we bought on my next post.

Then we flew to Bali for another 4 days 3 nights stay at Lv8 hotel (Vue beach resort). This Lv8 hotel is a new hotel in Bali, they provide some different types of room. We choose the studio suite room. 

We choose this hotel because we knew that we will only be chillin around the hotel and will only be out for a romantic lunch and dinner if possible.

Aside from those destinations and stays above, let me share with you what beauty products i carried for all those casual, beach and evening out.
